The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course are based upon the classic traditions of age-old British and Irish courses, with baffling course design and rugged terrain. The naturally formed alluvial dunes that dot the course add a bit of challenge, as they create the course's dog-legs and sharp curves. The course is located just south of city center, near the Maui Memorial Park.
